Fred brings more than 25 years of international experience in petrophysics and subsurface evaluation, supporting major operators including TotalEnergies, Shell, and PETRONAS across complex, multidisciplinary project environments. His career has been built on delivering technically robust interpretations and value-driven subsurface insights throughout the full field lifecycle — from basin evaluation and exploration to development, production optimisation, and plug & abandonment (P&A).

His expertise spans a wide spectrum of reservoir systems, including clastic settings such as conventional reservoirs, deep-water turbidites, thin-bedded formations, and tight gas plays, as well as carbonate reservoirs. Through this experience, Fred has consistently contributed to risk reduction, reserve maturation, well optimisation, and increased confidence in subsurface decision-making.

Beyond technical execution, Fred is deeply committed to knowledge transfer and capability development. He combines strong foundations in petrophysics, data analytics, and reservoir modelling to support teams through practical training, mentoring, and real-project coaching, helping organisations strengthen technical judgement and accelerate learning outcomes.

Fred is the Founder of KEPLIS Solutions Sdn. Bhd. He holds a PhD in Petrophysics and an MSc in Geophysics, has authored numerous technical publications, and regularly contributes to international technical conferences.
